The Cisco WS-X4748-12X48U+E is a high-performance 48-port Ethernet line card designed for compatible Cisco Catalyst 4500E Series modular switches. Engineered for enterprise networking environments, this module delivers high-density copper Ethernet connectivity, advanced Power over Ethernet capabilities, and multigigabit performance. Featuring 12 multigigabit Ethernet ports supporting speeds up to 10Gbps and 36 Gigabit Ethernet ports, the line card provides flexible connectivity for wireless access points, IP phones, security cameras, and other network devices. Cisco Universal Power over Ethernet (UPOE) technology enables compatible powered devices to receive up to 60W per port, subject to chassis power availability and configuration. The module also supports standard PoE and PoE+ devices. Designed for integration into compatible Catalyst 4500E chassis, this line card provides an enterprise-class solution for expanding network capacity and supporting bandwidth-intensive applications.
